Watch this space for more one off unique events as we plan more for the new season....’Take care and thanks for stopping by'PRESS RELEASENY BENT Studio 24 Tuesday 1st Jan 2008‘Fasten Your Seat Belts For The First Gay Friendly Dance Event of 2008! ‘From the people behind the “The Spiegelbent Parties†the most talked about dance events of the summer, join us on a special new year journey to New York and back. A collaboration of 5 different clubs, once again join forces to bring you what will undoubtedly be the Monster of all New Years Day Parties!On Tuesday 1st Jan 2008 the promoters of Taste, Tackno, Trashed, Fever and Playgirl Mansions present NYBent at Studio 24, Calton Road EdinburghThe large warehouse style venue will be transformed into a N.Y.C. themed party on both floors…. On the Main Floor we’ve taken our inspiration from the notorious New York club promoter, Michael Aligs wildly outlandish Disco 2000 parties that were held in New York Cities Limelight Club throughout the 1980s. We will invite our crowd not only to recreate but to update and outdo the 80s club kids with their own colourful costumes characters and creations. The soundtrack for this room will be provided by DJs Fisher & Price, Jon Pleased Wimmin’ and Kaupuss, Trendy Wendy , Marco Smith & Miss Chris. Expect cutting edge House and Electro with the occasional Club Classic thrown into the mix.In The Loft we will pay homage to the gloriously hedonistic disco daze of Studio 54, recreating the vibe with an anything goes trip of Twisted Disco & Poptastic Floorfillers, with DJs Trendy Wendy, Lick It, Sally Findlay, Miss Tits, and Honky Tonk.This event will run from 11-5am and given the popularity of our previous parties we expect it to be a sell out.
