Everyone is welcome on Elena Tosato's Myspace. The name "Heaven Underground" comes from a dream I've made years ago, and means that even though most people don't like it, we should always try to turn our perspectives upside down. Unless you are a fanatic, obviously. And now, let's talk about me, my life and my interests! I love fine arts, rock and blues, my Les Paul guitar, and writing everything.Short stories, novels, songs (words and music)
My life and career are easy to tell!
In 1989-90 I studied some ink drawing.
1995, mention at the youth literary prize "Campiello Giovani" in Venezia (Venice, Italy)
2003 certificate of journalism and narrative writing with the american/italian literary review "Storie" (e/o edit., Roma, Italy), with a publication on issue nr. 47/48
2004 I won a prize in graphics arts at the competition "Bunte Fassaden" held by the german review "Wohnen" (Frankfurt am Main, it's an architecture review)
In the same year I wrote the subject and screenplay of a short movie, named "Nagasaki 1945", based on the Puccini's "Madama Butterfly". It's the story about the power of the dreams, and about the fact that you should need to have a future to keep your dreams alive.
In 2005 and 2006 I've sold some pictures in Freiburg (oil on paper)
In 2006 my movie has been shot by Tsunami Comunicazioni (Italy) and reviewed (on November, 4th) by V.Mollica's "Do-Re-Ciak-Gulp!" on the national television RAI Uno.
Between 2006 and 2007 some of my pictures (collages) have been placed in two different exhibitions in Frankfurt am Main (Germany)(just before Günther Grass)
