I love exploring new music while I'm writing - it gets me in the mood and I can't sing along.
Movies:
I should have an impressive list here if I wanna be in the movie business, right? A list of old movies and lots foreign films no one's ever heard of (until the American remake, of course).
But even so... I'm a sucker for musicals (I was singing Sounds of Music by the time I was 8) and waiting for the next Chicago (and Stanley Donan), my secret favorite movie is Clueless, the classics of course (Gone with the Wind, Some Like it Hot, It Happened one Night), like any nerd I love violent movies (any QT, Scorsese, Guy Ritchie), and I think it's time we saw more female driven films out there...

No, we're not related, but here's a more interesting question: An Albert Einstein action figure??? I think it's safe to assume that if there was a(!) kid out there who'd actually buy this, he'd regret it after 37 seconds at the playground (I calculated that... ummm, maybe we are related)
