About Me

guys layout powered by HOT FreeLayouts.com / MyHotComments
I am seeking musicians and friends from all over. I live in the the incredibly beautiful and falsely maligned western New York region, where the natural panorama is spectacular and the nicest people in the world reside. Western New Yorkere are just the coolest people anywhere. We are the butt of the nation's jokes for no good reason at all....and if you ever visit here to see Niagara Falls, the Bills, the Sabres, enjoy some great wings, or the best outdoor music festivals along with the best summer weather anywhere, well then you'll find it hard to understand what the joke is about. And if you ever visit in winter, you'll find us to be people who ignore the fact that it's snowing while we just go about our business and laugh at the rest of the nation crying over a half inch of slush! I wake up every day and thank God to be alive. I look out the window and wonder, whether we're buried in five feet of snow or looking at the greenest green one could see anywhere, how anyone on earth can question the Creator or His omnipotent power. Life is a gift from God, and from none other source. I am well educated, articulate, and a freely thinking being. I am a jazz-rock trumpet player, and recently left the financial planning industry after 25 years of experience. I now devote my time to music education and performance. I instruct students at the Paraclete Music Conservatory in Orchard Park, NY, under the direction of its founder, composer-arranger/pianist/guitarist/organist Istvan Hernek. I am also the former director of the defending world champion Reading Buccaneers Drum & Bugle Corps from Reading, Pennsylvania, which always holds a special place in my heart. Whether it's progressive rock, jazz fusion, or classical music, my ears aren't far behind.
