Biography
The group formed at the end of 2002 with Julian Robayo and Andres Morales (guitars). Later Santiago Vélez (Vocals) and Juan Pablo Navarrete (Violin) joined the band. The group begins trying to innovate with an own style. Their influences are given by groups like Metallica, Manowar, Iron Maiden, Dark Tranquillity, Dream Theater, In Flames, Megadeth, Helloween, Blind Guardian and Children of Bodom among others. In the middle of 2003 Arturo Bedregal (Bass Guitar and Vocals) joins the band and at the end of this same year Felipe Montaño (Drums) is included.
The idea of the group is the mixture in the aggressiveness of the Heavy metal and Death metal with classical influences, always keeping a Melodic essence in the music. Clean, death an Black voices are used. The lyrics are mainly written in English and are based on literary works with adaptations.
The band has been made several concerts during 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 receiving an excellent public response. In September of 2006 Arturo Bedregal and Andres Morales left the band. In February of 2007 Jaime Coy (Legacy of Fire) joins the band as singer and guitar player, later Carlos Bernal joins as the new bass player.
DemonsQuest is finishing its first release, that is going to be ready in 2008.

El grupo se formó a finales del año 2002 con Julián Robayo y Andres Morales (guitarras). Más tarde se unió al grupo Santiago Vélez (Voz), y Juan Pablo Navarrete (Violín). El grupo comienza así intentando innovar con un estilo propio. Sus influencias están dadas por grupos como Metallica, Manowar, Iron Maiden, Dark Tranquillity, Dream Theater, In Flames, Megadeth, Helloween, Blind Guardian y Children of Bodom entre otros más. A mediados del 2003 se une al grupo Arturo Bedregal (Bajo y Voz) y a finales de este mismo año se une al grupo Felipe Montaño (Bateria).
La idea del grupo es la mezcla de la agresividad del Heavy metal con el Death metal e influencias clásicas guardando siempre una esencia Melódica en su música. Se Manejan voces limpias, guturales y rasgadas.
Las letras estan escritas en inglés y basadas principalmente sobre obras literarias con adaptaciones.. La banda ha realizado ya varios conciertos en lo corrido del año 2004, 2005, 2006 y 2007 recibiendo una excelente respuesta del público. Desde Septiembre de 2006 Arturo Bedregal y Andres Morales dejan la banda. En febrero de 2007 Jaime Coy (Legacy of Fire) se une al grupo como cantante y guitarrista, mas tarde Carlos Bernal se une como bajista. Actualmente DemonsQuest se encuentra terminando su primer trabajo que esperamos este listo para el 2008.
