About Me

What is PROCKmedia?
PROCKmedia is a web-project run by two people living in Antwerp, BE. Our aim is to bring together all artist, musicians, filmmakers, photographers and their audience in order to provide a platform where they can discover each others work and share ideas on common interests.
Who are we?
Just two guys, Sjugge & Tommy , who felt that there are a lot of websites who just concentrate on just one medium or art form. For example... while most people with the same musical interest, tend to enjoy the same films & books... So doesn't anyone try to bring these people together?
How did it all begin?
Under the pressure of major record labels, radio & tv stations don't spend enough attention to artists considered 'unprofitable'. In this way, any renewing form of art stays undiscovered by their potential audience for too long.
Although we live in a time of massive global communication, it's never been so hard to find the quality in the quantity.
Therefore we started out a myspace while we attempt to construct a website that hopefully will help people to expand their knowledge, taste & audience.
The future
In the future we hope to bring you the latest news on related bands, films, art etc. Bringing you dates, reviews, footage of events. And who knows where this might grow into...

Influences:

www.moviesfoundonline.com serves you with a gigantic choice of films uploaded on Google video, Youtube etc. Many movies are public domain, others are uploaded by the makers of the film, some well... (quote) Note that the newer movies, documentaries and tv-shows are probably not in public domain, they are just freely available on the net for some unknown reason. (unqoute)
