:::::::.......ENGLISH.......:::::::Lets see... My name is Martial Irie or just I.Dot. I am a born ..84 male human being that feels a physical,spiritual and emotional connection to (certain) music. After some (strange) musical excursions I..ve found my first real love. Dancehall and HardcoreRagga...Yepp...After 4 years in this genre and after a huge quantity of PoP-Dancehall releases (for example "Gimme di Light"by Sean Paul")I was a bit frustrated...In the same time I heared about DrumAndBass and Jungle.I was guest on some partys and listened to some mixtapes (Blackmarket,Krust,Die,and MCs Fearless, Hyper D...) that washed my brain!I definitely got inspired by the style of mighty DJs like Generation Dub, Twisted Individual DJ Surge, Jaydan, Taxman...its all about an evil wobble and a "QUESTION AND ANSWER- BASSLINE" like Surges- Telepathy ; ) After 3 or 4 years of MCing on Partys like BASSBLÜTEN or festivals like RHEINCULTURE and other venues near Düsseldorf/Cologne I begun to produce and mix Drum and Bass too. I thougt, this will be the (more or less) one and only style that really hits me!!! But wrong...One day (end of the year 06) a friend (bless to you Pawel K.) showed me a new Sound... DUBSTEP... this slow, heavy, wobbly and melancholic sound was my new love... Few days later I produced my first tune and ordered my first vinyl: Caspa-Rubber Chicken (on Tempa Rec.)....big tune... From now on I was Dub-dicted, I played and produced it (but I still love to play "Clowny"-DnB too)! Its all about the music and the feelings in it. A "honest" style of music like Dubstep is more than just "dancemusic". Dubstep is able to visualize loads of preassure and anger in our "urban" society. Its a kind of inoculation for every day you spend in the city full of senseless pressure and stress. I..m gettin too philosophical... Just listen to the music and you know what I..m talking about...
