About Me

I currently hold a residency at Afterlife in Dallas, TX. Combining a mix of trance, techno, and percussion oriented tracks my sets can run the gamut of emotions while never failing to entertain. Additionally, I utilize the power of digital media, Traktor & Final Scratch, to custom tailor my sound with my own personal bootlegs, edits and mashups of tracks. I feel that this gives a unique edge to my sets and how they flow, while assuring that you will not hear anything else quite like it on the dance floor. How's that for some shameless self promotion. &nbsp ;) The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves & pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

Music:

Mostly into trance, techno, and any combination of the two.
And let me qualify what I mean by "trance", none of that fluffy pretty 5 minute breakdown in the middle of the track that looses all the energy bullshit.
Think artists like Marcel Woods, Danny C, Jowan, Sam Sharp, Mark Sherry, Jesselyn, Randy Katana, Ron van den Beuken, Ronald Van Gelderen, Cern, Fred Baker, Mark Norman, Marco V, M.I.K.E., etc.
As for my techno, I like it bangin', dark, and dirty. I prefer the "Euro" sound to the Detroit sound, although there are exceptions...like some of the Underground Resistance stuff. Still bangin' to this day. Other artists would be Mauro Picotto, DJ Preach, Cave, Marco Bailey, Redhead, Mallorca Lee, Future Tribes, bla, bla, bla...

Some labels that I like would be:
ID&T, Five AM, Spinnin', Liquid, Silicone, Reset, Lunatique, PurpleEye, Oxygen, High Contrast, Riot, Galactive, Black Hole, Omega, BXR(RIP), Eye Q(RIP), Harthouse(RIP), R&S(RIP), etc....
