My name is Thor.
I live in Uppland, a county located not far away from Stockholm in the northern direction. When I do not study, work, read or generally consume coffee or tea, I play the Swedish traditional keyed fiddle and have, I think, played since the year of 2002.
This is the village in which I am currently staying. It is a source of inspiration and a location for music-doing, studying and history-related work, as well as its wonderful English garden.
Except for the nyckelharpa I intend to learn how to play the hurdy-gurdy and banjo.
I still have a long way to go with my instrument. Maybe this Internet community will help me in some way on that road. Especially since I do some travelling.
