Munch walks his own path - not just to be different, but because it has never given him the right feeling just to follow the crowd. Jacob embarked on his young career after several years of carpenter work and business studies.
He found the inspiration to design after traveling in the Caribbean with NOSI co-founder Gil Kuruneri. Jacob returned to Denmark to realize his dream of creating the Central America collection. Soon after Jacob’s return home he joined forces with life long friend, NOSI partner Henrik J. Bruun, EU sales chief.The Central America Collection represents the NOSI concept of future design. Each table is the namesake of the city in which it was concieved, six sofa tables in all, four extra sharp color choices, three steel options and endless possibilities for customization.The table plate is constructed of high quality MDF, and mirrored in super gloss auto paint in the classic NOSI colors: red, black, yellow, white. The legs and trim accents are seemlessly hand welded from solid steel plates and come in the choice of polished, brushed, or black painted finish. The final result is a physical expression of future design and personal style that is NOSI.Copan: The Copan table is NOSI Design’s solution to the ultimate lounge table. The flush mounted center plate adds a smooth steel contrast to Copan’s sporty racing striped legs. The massive presence of this design comes from the 8 cm thick MDF used to created the plate and legs, all done with no visible hardware.Montezuma: The Montezuma table is the visually lighter version of the NOSI lounge table. In the center of the table lies a stainless steel tray, which is laid 2 cm down into the table plate. The legs are constructed with a square cutout in the center accented with a brushed stainless steel frame.Grenada: The classic sofa table in the Central America Collection, Grenada has a 6 cm thick table plate stands on 8 mm wide brushed solid stainless steel legs. Grenada’s smooth lines and seamless welds are the perfect finish to almost every modern living room environment. The table is available in the 4 classic NOSI colors: red, black, yellow and white.
