Oyster Magazine

Issue #69 On Sale now!!

About Me

Not unlike its namesake, Oyster Magazine is an intriguing little package containing the gems of the local and international creative world. Featuring cutting edge, innovative and defiant fashion, music, art, film and design, Oyster presents you with a shell of ideas and inspiration. Irritated by complacency in content Oyster ensures that you, our reader, are exposed to the most current offerings spinning the globe right now, all delivered in a glossy, bi-monthly pearl.
ISSUE 75: UP RISING
In the Up Rising issue of Oyster, we explore the realms of rising stars and underground renegades – creatives that are doing amazing things without stealing the spotlight.
Oyster reveals the changing of the fashion guards with London and Australian designers, talking to Christopher Kane, Richard Nicholl, Romance Was Born and Friedrich Gray. We tune into the The Kills and The Rapture with exclusive interviews and lock down l’enfant terrible of film Jason Schwartzman for a candid conversation. As well as this, Oyster ventures in the darkly elegant world of Haute Couturiers Boudicca and delves into the Parisian underground, uncovering a secret society restoring Paris’ once neglected landmarks.
As always this issue features some amazing fashion shoots, this time by Mads Tegler, Taku Sugita, Ruvan Wijesooriya, Sylvie Malfray, Damian Bennett and a special shoot by Ben Sullivan showcasing Australia’s burgeoning star models.
