Finality

Finality formed in early 1993 with Vocalist Rich Davis and John Magyar meeting Bassist Levon Wells, Drummer Mike Corey, and Guitarist Ed Phelps in school. We all had a like mindedness about life and music in general. We wrote an unnamed demo on an old cheap four track recorder, the only song to make the cut to "The Endless Sky" was Forever Dead, the first song we ever wrote. Some things change however, Vocalist Rich Davis switched responsibilities with Bassist Levon Wells. Unfortunately under personal differences Levon Wells left and Guitarist Ed Phelps took on Vocals and Guitar. We played the scene in northeast Ohio for a time while writing material for our upcoming CD "The Endless Sky". In 1997 we started recording for the first time in a studio. Needless to say we were overwhelmed and knew little about the recording process. Due to financial difficulty we were forced to make do with very little takes and not much in the way of over-tracking. Soon after the release of "The Endless Sky" Drummer Mike Corey left suddenly. We tried a few other drummers but met with little success. We finally decided to call it quits in September 2001. We still look for new musicians to carry on maybe or to write new material. If any drummers or lead guitarists are interested in the northeast Ohio area contact me.
