About Me

Insurrection was formed in the end of 2005 by Anton Honkonen (guitar & vocals) who had a clear idea of creating a band that would represent, create and to awake the right feelings. Earlier in the autumn/winter Anton had spent his time at home making some songs, but none of them fulfilled his requirements, so he contacted his friend Johan Gustavsson (bass). In the early winter of 2006 Anton and Johan remade Anton's old songs and made the first songs for Insurrection.
After trying out different musicians without finding the right ones Anton contacted his friend Jonas Karlsson (drums) to join the band. Short after Jonas joined Insurrection Anton also contacted with Martin Ljungblad (guitar). After a couple of rehersals on Johan's and Anton's songs they saw that together these four musicians forged the ultimate Insurrection.
In the beginning of February, Jonas left the band. Thanks for all the good times and good luck in the future! Now we have new songs, new equipment and a new drummer, Rickard Schill (Vile Scar, Level Above Human) from Halmstad. Welcome Rickard!

Back On Track!

The demo is getting mixed
