About Me

I'm a 30 year old Gemini originally from the midwest.I am an Eastern Star and like meeting other Stars and Masons.

I have Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (read more here: http://www.tsalliance.org) and LAM (read more here: http://www.thelamfoundation.org/). I won't bore you with a lot of detail but having these conditions does make my life interesting sometimes.I like to write and read and am a big Indie Film buff and movie lover in general.I've been a real avid lover of music for as long as I can remember but definitely since my college radio show days. I am very eclectic in my tastes.

My Interests

see about me

I'd like to meet:

More Stars and Masons and anyone with a similar background or interests. Anyone who believes in making the world a better place through charitable endeavors.

Music:

I like Rayzd, Lost Secret, and the Yalloppin Hounds but also Duke Ellington and the Carpenters. I have a wide variety of musical tastes. I was a dj in college and my favorite thing was to hear latest releases from otherwise unknown alternative bands. I have to give credit where credit is due...Clef put me on to the Bastard Fairies. They are one of my new faves :)

Movies:

The original Zatoichi movies rule! I like Lots of indies - anything from comedy to Documentary. Classics like Citizen Kane and North By Northwest and All About Eve -- my favorites list is long...

Television:

Food Network shows - esp. Bobby Flay's shows - he's the man! When I need a good laugh I tune into SoapNet and VH1 for their over the top doses of "reality" :) Oh and my new fave is Heroes. Also after doing a marathon after Christmas of LOST I can't stop watching that either. I don't dare say much more, a lot of my TV shows I used to watch got cancelled.

Books:

Harry Potter series, Bukowski, Steinbeck, too many others to mention....

Heroes:

G-Clef and Mowie for helping me make my life better and befriending me in a place where I didn't know anyone.Julianne Moore, Tiki Barber, and Chris Hawkey for raising awareness for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex and being good people. My circle of friends and family which are wide and diverse.
