A big
guitar buff, I've been playing for 30+ years. I can play a riff here and there, but have become quite rusty. I like to draw, but am by no means any kind of artist, just a fun pastime.
I like to collect old interesting currency & coins, postcards, stamps, and old iconography. It's a great day when my wife and I can get out and check out antique stores, this is one of our favorite pastimes. Love to eat out in old cafe's and diners. Aviation and nose art Vargas is another biggie...
a lost art.
love to watch shows about aviation or bury myself in a book on aircraft. I love to just sit at the airfield and watch the birds take off. I like holidays, Halloween has always been a blast for us, we've come up with some great costumes over the years...it's a day to indulge my wild side. Of course vacations, the ocean, the mountains, wherever...no phones, no mail, just me and her with the mad world gone away. My wife's home cooking!! Especially her fried chicken and cheeseburgers!! BEER!!!!
Gooood Eeeevening . . . . . . . . .
Ask the ball:
I'd like to meet:
Common sense thinkers who care about this country and about what's right. And who aren't afraid to stand up against what's wrong. That's what we as serving members of the Armed Forces fight for--remember it.
I'm just here to have a some lighthearted fun. Maybe meet some like minded thinkers and learn something new.
One thing I'm definitely NOT here for is propositions...if that's how you come at me I will not repond to you!
No, I'm

FDR ~"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself"
~1980 At the beginning of my career in the US Army stationed in Heilbronn West Germany, I was fortunate and proud to serve with one of the Army's elite nuclear forces, the Pershing Missle 56th Artillery Brigade.
While my unit was stationed in W. Germany CBS news did a story on the forces in Europe working with the Pershing Missle. The articles below are part of that story.
Three Decades of Pershing Missle
As cold war soldiers, we stood as a deterant in the defense of our nation and the free world. Our motto: QRA ~Quick, Reliable and Accurate, and Performance Above All. Being a crew member standing ready 24/7 at the controls of possibly launching a 60 megaton nuclear missle.....
knowing the possibility you could be part of releasing this kind of destructive power upon mankind was needless to say a heavy experience for a young 19 year old private. It was called "the green dick on wheels"...if it were launched "you're fucked". I've remained forever grateful that we were never put to that terrible task. The partricular weapon system I worked with was part of the SALT II treaty talks. It was disbanded in the late eighties. And I am extremely proud to be part of a relatively small group of soldiers "the Pershing Professionals" to have worked with this one of kind weapon system.
