I taught high school for ten years and have been a college professor in education and history for forty years. In that time I taught over 12,000 teachers.
I'm most proud of creating the Veterans Accelerated Urban Learning for Teachers (VAULT) program for returning Vietnam War veterans. The acceptance into the program consisted of answering "yes" to the question of: "Would you like to go to college?"
I want to end the current system of education and replace it with a new one which empowers youth and adults to collaborate in learning.
It's not that I dislike Bush, it's just that I HATE the bastard and all the other fools who have taken control of our nation to enrich themselves and send thousands of young people to die, as well as kill thousands of innocent Iraqi people.
I write. My latest book is Don Rumsfeld & Dick Cheney In Hell , which has the Devil asking a variety of people to help him determine exactly where in the hell the two idiots belong.

I am also currently in the process of updating my valuable teaching handbook, A Teacher's Handbook to Inquiry Learning: 1201 Ideas to Stimulate Inquiry . I am one of those Depression babies who never lost the desire to fight against the wealthy and powerful.
Basically, I am an old geezer with a young heart and a fire in his belly to fight the fools who control the presidency.
What I'm doing now:
Together with my son David, we founded FreshWave Publishing and a political blog, The Impudent Observer , to report on issues of liberal concern in every corner of the globe. Each day I give readers an analyzed digest of what is reported in over forty newspapers world-wide. As long as the horror of the war in Iraq continues, I will also report about Americans trapped in that monstrous action as well as the lives of Iraqis who suffer daily from the sins of George Bush.
