When I get lost
Feel I've been crossed
She will be my salvation
When I feel low
I've nowhere to go
She'll be my inspiration
when my poor heart
Is breaking apart
She'll put it back together
She ain't the kind
To show off her mind
But talking of love
She's clever
She rarely spends
Time with her friends
Tells me she's blue without me
When things go wrong
Her faith is strong
I know she'll never doubt me
when she arrives
And stands by my side
Makes me so proud to know her
High stepping dames
With high sounding names
There ain't nothing
They could show her, YEAH....

I am a species born to die
Understanding this, I hardly cry
Growin' up and out, I'll marry you
I'll bear your kids and be your mama too cause
Cause I'm a woman and I'm a backbone
I'm a woman and I'm a backbone
Everybody needs one
Goin' on I live from day to day
Give a little heart for my life to pay
Smile and then I need to cry
Never knowin' if I lie or die
Cause I'm a woman and I'm a backbone
I'm a woman and I'm a backbone
Understand you will not see me down
Both of my feet are on the ground
Come lay your head upon my chest
I'll love you hard, I'll give my best
I'm a woman - I'm a backbone
I'm a woman - I'm a backbone
Everybody needs one

*****It Is Better To Be Alone Than In The Wrong Company (AUTHOR UNKNOWN)
Tell me who your best friends are, and I will tell you who you are. If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl. But, if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar to great heights. "A mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses." The simple but true fact of life is that you become like those with whom you closely associate - for the good and the bad.
The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. As you grow, your associates will change. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are. Friends that don't help you climb will want you to crawl. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream. Those that don't increase you will eventually decrease you.
Consider this: Never receive counsel from unproductive people.
Never discuss your problems with someone incapable of contributing to the solution, because those who never succeed themselves are always first to tell you how. Not everyone has a right to speak into your life. You are certain to get the worst of the bargain when you exchange ideas with the wrong person.
Don't follow anyone who's not going anywhere. With some people you spend an evening: with others you invest it.
Be careful where you stop to inquire for directions along the road of life.
Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships.

To become truly great, one has to stand with people, not above them. The more you lose yourself in something bigger than yourself, the more energy you will have. We come nearest to the great when we are great in humility. Life is a long lesson in humility. Humility is the only true wisdom by which we prepare our minds for all the possible changes of life. Pride makes us artificial and humility makes us real. The proud man can learn humility, but he will be proud of it. In life we may accomplish great things and think to ourselves that we are moving ahead really fast. This is usually the time when it is essential to be the most humble you've ever been in your life. This could just be that greatness awaits you around the corner and you'll never know by not humbling yourself. Sometimes the best thing for us is to eat a little humble pie.
Be Thankful for the clothes that fit a little too snug, because it means you have enough to eat
Be Thankful for the mess you clean up after a party, because it means you have been surrounded by friends
Be Thankful for the taxes you pay, because it means you are employed
Be Thankful that your lawn needs mowing and your windows need fixing, because it means you have a home
Be Thankful for your heating bill, because it means you are warm
Be Thankful for the laundry, because it means you have clothes to wear
Be Thankful for the space you find at the end of the parking lot, because it means you can walk
Be Thankful for the lady who sings off-key behind you in church, because it means you can hear
Be Thankful when people complain about the government, because it means we have freedom of speech
Be Thankful for the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours, because it means you're alive
