Waste Management

2004 is the year Southern France Metal band Waste Management was formed. WM is composed of former members of both Redzone and Core-tx united around their passion for booze and metal. Later that year, the band entered the studio to record its first ever demo. The three-song record features the bands most acclaimed tune Stockholm Syndrome along with Death Wish (Vendetta) and Tractor Beam. Since then, the band has been writing new songs and playing shows including at Montpelliers Rockstore. The newest songs are even more brutal but still remain melodic thanks to solos by both axemen Marc and Julien. Tentative titles are The Bounty Hunters, Beyond Ones Self, and Versatile Snake. The band is currently planning on getting back to the studio and on playing more shows to spread its music and its motto Get Wasted!
2004 -C’est en 2004 que Waste Management est né de la rencontre d’anciens membres de deux groupes de métal montpelliérains, Redzone et Core-t’x. Grâce à une importante consommation d’alcool, le groupe est parvenu à écrire six titres, dont trois ont été enregistrés dès le mois de décembre. Composée de Death Whish, Tractor Beam et Stockholm Syndrome, cette maquette illustre parfaitement la volonté du groupe de rester fidèle à ses influences métal en évitant les modes actuelles. C’est dans cet état d’esprit que WM a continué à composer et s’est préparé à participer aux Duels Rock 2006. Avec des morceaux plus complexes mais toujours aussi efficaces, le sextet a enregistré un franc succès lors de son passage au Rockstore en janvier 2006. Fort de cette expérience, WM perfectionne son identité musicale et espère prochainement entrer en studio.
