JUGGERNAUT started in 2002, when Jerome (Fist of Fury/Bordeaux deathcore) wanted to start a new band. The first line up was : Jerome/vocals, Guillaume/guitar, Matthieu(Fist of Fury)/guitar, Hiene/bass, Jean(Psylaw)/drums.
We played a few concerts in Bordeaux's area. Hiene left the band so we took Julien(ex H-Tray). February 2004 : we recorded our first demo(available on our web site) D.I.Y. way. Then Jean had to leave because he was too involved with his first band. So we had a 6 month replacement with Julio.
End 2004/beginning 2005: We have our definite line up with Damien(Fist Of Fury) and Ju(Obscurantis Order/Hokum) and we do shows in Bordeaux and in France.
We started recording for a split cd with Mantys (Rennes) and Coven (Chartres) which will be out during the summer 2006.
In May 2006, we have to part ways with our drummer, after staying almost 2 years with a stable line-up... But we soon found a replacement with Karol, a young and talented drummer. Then Mathieu and Julien had to leave, replaced by Jeremy who brought a more technical touch to the music and Laurent who had helped us in the past.
We started recording a new demo in early 2007, with the new line up, with 3 new songs and 2 older ones, showing the band's more brutal and technical death / hardcore direction.
Then followed a set of gigs in the south of france, festivals, continuing on spreading the fury!
A new recording (hopefully an album, recorded more 'professionally':) is planned for early 2008!
We like to keep our shows dynamic and violent. See all you deathmetal and hardcore freaks at a show someday!
