Hmmm... where to start? Music is a big interest of mine. I love to go to concerts. I also love to watch live performances musical and theatrical. I am intrigued by tattoos and piercings. I have size 0 plugs in my ears and a labret in my lip-chin, although you really can't see it in my pictures. No matter what a person looks like, if I see ink on their body, I do a double take. I love different hairstyles as well - I'm always checking out other's hair. Clothes interest me, which is the reason that I have a career in the fashion industry. Green also attracts my attention - I LOVE the color GREEN. Interacting with other's, especially creative people. I like to learn from other's. My biggest turn ons in others are: quiet intelligence not the loud intimidating obnoxious kind (not necessarily book smarts); motivation; positivity; creativity; passion. I love a person with the strength to admit to their wrongs and weaknesses, afterall we're all human :).
All kinds of people. I like to open myself up to meeting new people on a regular basis. I like to surround myself with diversity within the friends that I interact with. I'd like to continue re-connecting with old friends.
I love music in general, hence the fact that I like a lot of different groups and types of music. ANI DiFRANCO is my favorite musician. I also listen to the following groups often: The Used, Deftones, Beastie Boys, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Green Day, No Doubt, Guttermouth, Sum 41, Pennywise, Rancid, Weezer, Reel Big Fish, Violent Femmes, Billy Idol, Cyndi Lauper, Journey, Grateful Dead, Phish, Lynrd Skynrd, Janis Joplin, Tom Petty, Bob Marley. The soundtrack to Rent, which is primarily because it brings back my memories of the musical, which I loved! We all know these lists can go on forever...
Gia; Old School; Little Miss Sunshine; The Notebook (it keeps the faith and hope for TRUE LOVE alive); Dirty Dancing; Grease (only the first one) ++++ those are the first that come to mind.
Fave TV show is 24 - Kiefer f'in rules! I can always watch FAMILY GUY because, well, just because it's so damn hilarious and pushes limits on public tv. I can't believe they get away with some of what they say on that show! I try to catch the L Word and Weeds on demand as I have the time. I try not to get sucked into too many TV series because it causes too many restrictions to my schedule when I do - but I'm not going to lie, I like tv (notice how I said like and not love or need).
I don't read books often - this is something that I'd like to change. I'm a magazine girl - work has a lil to do with that :) I did, however, enjoy A MILLION LITTLE PIECES (well, the portion that I've gotten through thus far).
The ones who have been great inspirations in my life: My aunt, who has guided me onto the right path, and is the reason why I am where I am - the strength that I have was learned from her. My mother, who is the reason that I am who I am - she is an amazing woman, who has taught me acceptance towards all types of people. My best friend Janie: HONEY, I LOVE YOU - she is the closest friend that I have and ever will have in life. She is a beautiful individual, whom I admire greatly for many things, one being her ability to voice her opinions. She is the reason that I have joined my space in the first place. My long term (off and on) boyfriend Scotty - he has contributed to a large part of my life. And in the more recent years, my old office roomie/co-worker Amy has taught me lesson upon lesson, and has made a lasting impression on my life. I have an endless amount of admiration for her.
