Looking down on the path ahead, I see only darkness housing an infinite amount of question and hunger. I search deep within this concaving entrapment for a stairway not of salvation, but for a sanctuary to retire my beloved thoughts. All these feelings I hide from myself and all the emotions I've yet to discover need shelter from a culture that's unable to comprehend their true worth. I'll hide them within this serenity I've discovered only because here they'll be warm; here I know they'll be welcomed and understood.
I sharpen my blade to make a dull approach towards perceiving something of value within the landscapes of where I've buried my intuition. My pride will not allow safe passage to my morale, so it is in the here and the now where I'm forced to shape a significance out of conclusions that apply to this constant suffering that I have brought upon myself.
Turn inside out, with a hope to discover what yourself is actually all about. If you strive to survive, you may discover and define, the underlining problem is the resident in your mind: Obsession.
I know tonight I can relax and regress. I'll expel the distress that ravishes me beneath the subliminal shade of gray I've chosen to hide behind by simply opening up my eyes, and facing the world as it is. I will shred through this realm of deception and defeat that encases my success by using the single strain of dignity that I have yet to be relieved of.
