As a child, DJ G-Kidd had a great passion for music. While he was young he was always around music, starting at the age of 5 he used to watch his uncle practice DJing everytime he was over his house. He caught quick interest in DJing, but his uncle never let him use his equipment. DJ G-Kidd still stayed with the passion with many influences like Funk Master Flex, DJ Camilo and DJ Enuff, they helped him keep the passion for music.At the age of 15 he didn't know how to find the money to buy equipment, but it wasn't until he met up with one of his friends who was a local DJ to let him use his equipment and mess around with it. He taught him a couple of the basics and then he talked to his cousin who was DJ Funkmaster Flex's personal assistant to help him get a good price on a pair of numark cd players and a 2 channel numark mixer to start off.Then one year later at the age of 16 he met the CEO of BigShot Worldwide who then became his manager after seeing him spin at a local party. He saw the potential and drive G-Kidd had for music. Then DJ G-Kidd spun at his first local club called Club Red and had the crowd amped. After a few months DJ G-Kidd left his manager and joined Lytez Out Productions which is currently called Lytez Out Muzik and was then managed by DJ Plat1num. With the Help of Plat1num and the guidance of his older sister it helped him even more pursue what he wants to do musically.G-Kidd attended many club events to hear & learn from watching well known DJ's spin. While attending a teen bash at the former Club Exit, G-Kidd ran into resident DJ, DJ EM. He then found EM's myspace page and sent him a message. EM, being his humble self, responded and offered to help G-Kidd. He invited him to spin and open up at many different events. EM was the first person to put G-Kidd out into the "City Night Life". He continues to be his mentor and guidance.Now Currently DJ G-Kidd is one of the youngest DJs to do something big in this business, he has just turned 19 years old and has spun at numerous private events and Clubs such as: Jay-Z's Famous 40/40 Club, Club Roxy, Club Avalon, Club BLVD, Club Mansion, XBar, Club Deep, Remi Lounge, Club LVL, Club Traffik, Club SOL, Diva Lounge, Club Matrix, Studio 45, Club Red, Club Ferrenheit & Peppers, Remix Night Club, Club New Millenium, Worth Lounge, Luna Lounge, Zana's Night Club and many more to come.. He has spun alongside many very well-known DJs such as: DJ Camilo (Hot 97|Heavy Hitters|Strictly Live), DJ Enuff(Hot 97|Heavy Hitters), DJ Envy(Hot 97|Def Jam DJ), DJ Precise (La Kalle 105|Heavy Hitters), DJ Spin One(La Kalle 105.9|Strictly Live), DJ Spinbad(Z100|Power 105.1), DJ Reymo(La Kalle 105.9|Heavy Hitters) and many more. He has also spun at events with performances by J.R. Writer, Yomo & Hector El Father, Zion, Toby Love, Dem Franchise Boyz, Luny Tunes.There are unstopable limits for this young talent.. Stay on the lookout he still has another 10-20 years in this business!
