Barack The Vote ! What up What up MySpace ! It's ya boy DJ Blendsz here to tell you a lil something about myself ... Well Carlos Garcia is the name given to me when I was born. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico ( Los Leones BABY ! ) I moved to Union City, New Jersey when I was 3 years old. When I was 9, I joined my grammar school band. Playing the Piano, Trumpet, Trombone, and Violin, I knew I was destined to become a musician in some way. But I didn't stop there, I wanted to play something "cooler" and more challenging. So the next year, I started to play drums and little did I know I'd be great at it. From 7th grade up til my Senior year in High School, I was Drumline Leader/Captain. ... But in between the mix, a close friend of the family, Club King's own DJ Quest, introduced me to "Dee Jay'n". He spoke to me about Vinyls, Techniques, Record Stores, and parties he threw and/or dj'd at. So one day I looked into it, did my research, tried some stuff, and WALA ! here I am today ! DJ Blendsz was a name given to me influenced by DJ Precise "The Blend King", one of today's most talented DJs. Blendsz has 2 personalities, 2 that show the different sides of how he goes about DJ'n. Blendsz, shows the English side which plays genres such as HipHop, R&B, Freestyle, Club, & House. My favorite artists would be Jay-Z, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, P.Diddy ( the Boss NOT the singer lol ), Dj Tiesto, and TKA, just to name a few. The other personality is " El Bambino ". Also meaning Baby in Italian, it comes from the name given to me as a kid [BeBe]. El Bambino shows the Spanish side of my DJ'n talent. From genres such as Reggaeton, Merengue, Salsa, Latin House, a little bit of Cumbia, and Bachata, Don Omar, Tito el Bambino, Marc Anthony, Gilberto Santa Rosas, Victor Manuelle, Aventura, Anthony Santos, El Torrito, and many more are the artists who help me keep the party going. What else? dont worry ! i got chu ! Besides being a DJ, I've also hyped for a local artist Quest [officialquest.com], Great at hosting parties/mixtapes, and dont tell nobody ! but I'm majoring for Criminal Justice at NJCU [ yea yo I'mma be a cop lol ] ... I have DJ'd in several spots in Hudson County, New Jersey, New York, Arizona, Florida, and Canada. My 1st mixtape, The Blend Prince, was released early 2008. Well thats more than enough about me ... what's up with you !? ..
