BIOGRAPHY
Energetic, Creative, Passionate, Charming, Soulful and Eccentric - just some of the words that describe the music of Daylon Alexander. He is not the average sultry entertainer, and is surely destined to capture the world’s attention.
Born in Chicago and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, the rising R&B star has a remarkable story to tell and is ready to unleash his talents in the music industry. Since 2003, Daylon has recorded and performed shows with a number of great artists, including Jay-Z, The Game, Destiny’s Child, Lil’ Jon & The Eastside Boyz, Omarion, Bobby Valentino, Pretty Ricky, Lyfe Jennings and Tyrese to name a few. Daylon has also hit the stage during spot dates for the Got Milk Tour (Spring 2003), Roc-The-Mic Tour (Summer 2003) and The BET Scream Tour IV (Summer 2005).
While on a constant move helping his mother recover from an overpowering drug addiction, Daylon never lost his love for music. A craft best learned through the power of the pen, Daylon has mastered the craft of songwriting and with the natural ability for storytelling; he has created some incredibly visual songs. Recently, Daylon released a MixTape album hosted by the infamous DJ Enuff of “The Heavy Hitters†and performed on stage from New York to Los Angeles including Miami.
Daylon has a different side of his artistry that gives him his own lane – He is R&B with the versatility of R. Kelly while maintaining the confidence of an MC. Daylon pours out his real-life experiences - showing not only his ability to adapt musically, but also his unique life story growing up in homelessness. Having entertained audiences of over 50,000, Daylon goes into each show with a mission - and by the end of his performance the message is completely conveyed to all who listen to his music. Daylon’s talents flow much deeper than belting out notes and performing on stage; his lyrics exude charisma and radiance in his vocal abilities and his music is sure to bring out the imagination of every listener.
