About Me

"
The World Of... Born in 1987 8yr MC, 9yr Poet Born & Raised in New Jersey. He Grew up in West New York where the mecca of hip hop during the late 80s and 90s was just across the river. Early influences of Hip Hop, New Jack Swing, R&B, Soul, Blues and Jazz during the early 90s where music was a part of his childhood memories. He would remember the days of listening to Wu-tang while his older brother nodded his head to beats. Groups such as Boyz II men, Shai, Jodeci, The Fugees, would be inspiring for the "Smooth" that makes his music. At the age of 11 he started writing poetry, since then rhythm has been part of his regular day. Poetry was a way as a young kid to express his thoughts no one understood, as well as crushes he admired as any kid would. A year later amongst friends he would participate in Freestyle ciphers, Battles and MC competitions. This is how his hobbie became his passion, and his passion became life itself to him. Now as everyday goes by he realizes that he has gone too far for him to go back. Everyday is a steady progress. As well as all my music is progress for himself and the soul of every man and woman.
Part Goodfella Music, and 1/2 of Minds Of Realness, as well as a writer, audio engineer, co-host at the Goodfella Radio show.

Nas & JayZ!! [click to watch]

Of special guests, the largest crowd reaction came from Nas speaking to the crowd about how he needs to "breathe." Repeating the word, DJ Green Lantern played the instrumental to "Success," prompting a Yankee-cap tucked low Jay-Z to rush on the stage nestled at the banks of the bay, and perform his first verse. After erupting applause, the two then performed "Black Republicans." [click to watch]Nas' stage show included a five-piece band, joined by the deejay, which interpolated compositions such as "It Ain't Hard To Tell," "New York State of Mind," and "N.I.G.G.E.R."
