First some music...
My original tune, The Joy of Latin, at a recent gig in Providence Giant Steps at a recent gig (sorry about the exposure -- it was a hot night)
 My take on Eleanor Rigby
I was born in 1997 in Jerusalem. I began piano lessons just before my 5th birthday with Lea Agmon. Since then I have performed in concerts at the Jerusalem Conservatory of Music and at various youth concerts, alone and with orchestra or string ensemble. I also study violin and composition. I discovered jazz when I was 7. After exploring alone for half a year I started to study with Jean Claude Jones and played my first jazz session on my 8th birthday. Since then I have performed with my teacher in jazz clubs and festivals in Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv. On my 9th birthday Kadima Collective Recordings released my first CD, 31 Bars, featuring mostly my compositions. In addition to classical and jazz piano, I am also experimenting with guitar, double bass, drums, and electronic music. My main interest is in combining classical forms of jazz with avant-garde and free improvisational techniques. You can view my site at www.arielpiano.com
