..my name is ray blanco. i write music. i play drums. hard. the bangkok five is my band and we tour the world and perform in from of thousands of screaming girls who all want to spit on me or something like that. i used to play drums for the following bands and douchebags or cocksuckers or maybe really nice folk. The Crave. Outcast. Suffer(temp). RainChild. Countervail. Insurgence(temp). Home Town Hero. Fader. Dave Lichens. Bender. Feersum Injun(featuring paul from Tool). The Bangkok Five. Thats really all i can think of at the moment. of course im really stoned or drunk at the current time of 247 am.. or maybe just tired.

My Interests

change. yes. time for change. does it really interest me? no. not really. but i feel a time for change and i find that interesting. i obviously like music. i have found a new reborn joy for creating it and listening to it. it has taken me many years but its ohhh so exciting again. i find it interesting that i am capable of achieving more when no one expects anything of me. poker, los angeles kings hockey, dane cook, and my friends.

Music:

i had the obvious list before. but here is what i am listening to now. sunlight spills-- you havent heard of it cuz it really doesnt exist yet. sh*t. i dont even know if thats the name. my own sorry ass demos of music that i am compiling together in this random time in my life. i might decide to put some up at www.myspace.com/rayblancomusic - however-- i might not. the lost patrol band. probably only cuz dennis is in the band. lita ford and ozzy " close my eyes forever" killing joke. phantom planet. (minus1). pinback. jimmy eat world. snapcase. u2. ours. pj harvey. and some other random stuff i feel like listening to at the moment. my all time favs are as follows: far, led zep, black sabbath, michael jackson, bad religion, rage against the machine, the beatles, nirvana, james brown, john lennon, prince, jeff buckley.. blah blah. whatever.

Movies:

my favorite movie is going to be the movie that i will be releasing in the near or not so near future. more details to follow eventually.
