You may recall a band called BUDGIE, well back in the Seventies I was the drummer on their IN FOR THE KILL album. Having survived almost everything that the world of rock could throw at me, nine years ago I was diagnosed Parkinson's and I am now the worlds best tambourine player. Being told I had PD was similar to being told that the band had a new drummer on the eve of a world tour. You accept it, but refuse to give in. In the world of rock you develop the skin of a rhino with the determination of an ant! So with that same determination for the last six years I have organised a rock concert in a attempt to raise funds for research, but more importantly I want to show that what ever life throws at you, life itself is still worth living. I have Parkinson's Parkinson's does not have me . FILL YOUR HEAD WITH ROCK takes place in Willenhall, West Midlands on the 27th and 28th of May 2007. Now in its 7th year I want to raise the profile of the event, to help raise more awareness & funds for the research into Parkinson's.
