About Me
In 2003 No Sweat started off as a promotional/productions team. The first event we organized was the "Summer Drift Party " on the Hera yacht, where rock-reggae Dripht played live on deck. The event was a great success, with the turnout being much higher than was expected, so it was a great debut for us. After that, we teamed up with local bands to debut our Video production, by making a few MusicVideos.
In 2005 No Sweat was a co-organize er of the great two day Festival The Broadband Gathering together with the one and only Reciprocal Records, which saw 20 amazing local bands rocking it out on the same stage. The Festival was filmed, and a DVD was issued in collaboration with Clauneck Multimedia Development. (If you want to buy the DVD just contact us here, Thanks).
After a while No Sweat decided to start getting bands from abroad. First band was the three-piece rock-the- fuck out TAT from London, which first came in December of '05 playing an acoustic show and two kick ass live shows, the turn out was fantastic and saw TAT coming back in August of '06 to play yet an other three kick ass live shows. TAT also hit our top 40 charts.
The Next band, with the help of Virus Project was the almighty "UNSIGNED HEROES!" KOOPA who made UK Chart history in January 2007 by becoming the first ever unsigned band to have a UK Top 40 hit. They landed on our shores in February of '07 and played two kick ass shows with the turn out still being amazing. KOOPA too hit our top 40 Charts.
No sweat didn't stop here. Just a week after KOOPA left the island one of the most hard rocking bands from Denmark NADA arrived with their wild and very energetic live shows which always manages to get the crowd go crazy. Actually the crowd did go crazy in three amazing live shows, one included playing at Nadur Carnival, which was just insane!!!!!!!!!!!
April 07' saw the arrival of the London Based crazy mofo's SHOCKLEADER!!. They will always be remembered for there insane radio antics and aggressive live shows. While in Malta the Shockerzz played two energetic live gigs which got the crowd want more. Been only around for a year but already can perform an amazingly tight set. tttttttttzzzzzzzziiiiiiiiiiii
April the 28th 07" just a week after SHOCKLEADER the Melodic punkers AGE OF ORANGE From Germany landed on Malta to perform two shows at the annual Simon's Pub Marathon. They blew away everyone that was lucky enough to see their performance with a super tight set full of amazing guitar melodies and catchy tunes. Been together since 1999 they have just released their debut album "Atlantic" a must have for any melodic punk lover.

No Sweat even had the pleasure to work with some amazing local bands which always gave their support, which include: BNI, Dripht, The I Skandal, Totema, Retrophytes, Cable 35, Xtruppaw, Eve Ransom, Stoned Joker.
No Sweat will keep on getting top foreign bands and in the future hopes to start booking gigs for Maltese bands abroad too
