The Legacy that is Street Monster began even before I was born. Amidst the dismal, racist and intolerant post Pearl Harbor climate that was The 1940's spawned a need to provide a better standard of living in the heart of a man whose name shall remain anonymous. I will just say that he was my great-grandfather. His incessant desire to position himself alongside the underworld's most feared and notorious figures would lead him to explore many illicit 'business' ventures. The span ran from bootlegging, the numbers racket, illegal gambling, prostitution, and eventually the lucrative drug trade. This hustlers tradition would be passed down from one generation to the next, culminating at the feet of my father. Who knew he would leave us so unexpectly. His untimely and tragic murder ( Highly publicised on A&E's THE FIRST 48) a few years ago lead me to begin the process of filtering the illegal evils from the hearts and minds of the remaining heirs to the throne. We must legitimize ourselves, We must become Street Monsters. Life is a thinking mans' game - it's mental over material. To demonstrate how one can survive the ill atrocities that suffocate hope and vision from the projects to prison; from poverty to parole: I established this concept of M.O.N.S.T.E.R.
