About Me

Carrie Revel explains how "Rain or Shine" was created. "Our band was traveling around downtown Indy when we stopped for a photo shoot and returned to the Van not starting. We were stranded in the middle of the road and had to push the van accross the street to a safe place. We called for help and had to wait for about an hour. It became pretty cloudy that day and of course, it rained. Carrie's co-writer grabbed his guitar and began to strum some chords. That is where we wrote the song "Rain or Shine". On the curb of a parking lot, stranded in the rain. It is never easy in the midst of confusion or trouble to sing a song, dance or even smile a little. I can't say that all our bad days are taken with ease like this day was. But i know, there is an underlying promise of victory over strife if you just believe.", Carrie Revel. Available to you now, the CD "Rain or Shine". All songs capture a style of their own. "Follow You" emulates a comfortable groove while "Who Would I Be?" is edgey and ethereal. "Into The Water" will take you down Blues Road and "Boundless Love" may give you desire to gambade around the room. The exclusive CD release "Rain or Shine" is available now on myspace.

Faith, Hope and Love
"Inspire your Generation"

( Indianapolis , IN ) Sept 7th, 2007 – Faith, Hope and Love is pleased to announce the release of an amazing new CD titled “Breathe.” The production and release of this new compilation CD is the result of a songwriting invitational sponsored by Faith, Hope and Love International, Minor Prophet Studio and Central Indiana Christian Songwriter’s Association (CICSA).

Eddie Prather of Minor Prophet Studio and Greg O’Haver of CICSA were integral to the initial organization and kick off of this first annual songwriting contest. There were six judges with varied backgrounds who selected the artists and songs from over one hundred songs submitted. There are thirteen artists included on this eclectic CD whose song lyrics all exemplify faith, hope and/or love.

This is the third year for Faith, Hope and Love week in the Indianapolis area. Merlin Gonzales, the founder, wanted to introduce the songwriter competition and CD release as an addition to the already active week of local missions work and activities. This is a missions trip without leaving home to change the world in your community. Faith, Hope and Love week is all about collaboration between people, churches, communities…and now singer/songwriters too.

Congratulations to Sacred Intent, the Grand Prize Winners. After the competition, there was a full concert by Latino Grammy and Billboard Nominee, Samuel Hernadez. It was an amazing time.
