About Me

follow justindula at http://twitter.comI haven't used this for a while now other than to respond. facebook isn't blocked at work and has scrabble.I should also put a caveat on my top 8. I use it for people who I mean to talk to about one thing or another or people who change their pictures or profiles a lot or new myspacians whose profile I haven't checked out yet. Don't feel offended if you are not on my top 8 and you are a dear friend. I still love you and you know it. I refuse to follow myspace etiquette on this one.I moved to the Phila area a while ago now for a job in City and Regional Planning. I live in the near west suburbs (so near in fact they are a lot less suburban than places like Chestnut Hill or the North East [you can hear the bitterness of everyone thinking I live on the moon). I'm pretty anti-car (a sometimes militant pedestrian). I am also well known for my ability to pick apart advertising and modern culture. It tends to wear thin after not too long, especially on road trips where I read every billboard and sign I find hilarious.

My Interests

Photography with my pimped out point and shoot olympus with real antique film, Extreme Walking, Asian Snack Foods, board games, Pittsburgh, Hong Kong, multi-tasking, candy, hackneyed cliches, dry humor, thrift stores; deconstructing, making fun of, and analyzing informational brochures, advertising, and signage... Also I spend too much time on the internet and belong to way too many social networking sites. This one is great because they statistically compare your personality with others' Join me on OkCupid.

I'd like to meet:

Other people who realize we live in a ridiculous place and time. Those who see that it is disturbing and hilarious at the same time. Also people who like to drink and play board games, especially clue. Also, anyone who lives near 69th St. Terminal. I need some more neighborhood friends. Also, I don't befriend people who I haven't conversed with for a while, so send me a message first. If you are a band, no need to write, but I will only add you if I like your stuff of course.

Fall in love with your commute all over again: A local office worker did and we ask him how.

So this morning on my way to work it was snowing and great outside and I finally put down my phone, newspaper, and book (I like to multitask) and looked out the window. Then I picked up my phone again...
