Listening to music. Long conversations. Going out to coffee. Doing things outdoors (though I'm just getting back into that lately, so I'm always up for new things!)- I do, however, like hiking, camping, walking and I ADORE stargazing. Other things include: Random interesting things that might actually be happening here. Hanging out with friends. Going to movies. I love concerts and anything related to music which is a big part of who I am. Art and reading. I write ALOT, especially when I'm feeling anti-social or have alot on my mind. Playing video games (love!) or even card games and board games if they're around. I draw and doodle alot, though mostly doodling these days. Laughing at midgets, old people and gimpy-- er, handicapped people. Just ask, because I always leave stuff out, I love lots of things.
People who are- A: Intelligent, B: Honest, C: Able to hold conversation for more than the amount of time it takes to ask 'What's on TV?' and D: NOT, let me repeat, NOT easily offended, intimidated, frightened or prone to peeing in their pants at the sight of something unknown. That is all.
There are alot of things I love. Nine Inch Nails (my favorite band of all), Marilyn Manson, Tool, Metallica, Slipknot. Then there's things in my collection like the Moulin Rouge and Chicago sountrack, sitting with Fiona Apple, Hole, Beck, Tori Amos, Insane Clown Posse, Fall Out Boy, Green Day and my compilation CD with Elvis, the Cramps and the B-52's. I loves me some Elvis for sure. I also dig Johnny Cash, the Doors and Jimi Hendrix. I love Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers and I try to go to all their shows in the Phoenix area- and sometimes to Rocky Point if I can make it. You'll also find random things like 16 Volt, Apartment 26 and Aphex Twin in my collection. Then there's my random Mix CDs with things like Ying Yang Twins, Ludacris, Black Eyed Peas and whatnot or my collection of mp3's that has NOFX, Rise Against and Less Than Jake in it. And then there's things like opera and classical that will call to me sometimes. Hmm. Guess that's alot of variety, huh? There's plenty more I'm not listing as well. Just keep the CMT country music and bad 80's cock rock away from me and we'll be good.
Action, sci fi and martial arts flicks are my favorite. I'll always check out a comic book adaptation. Not big on the romantic 'chick flicks'--- yes, I am in fact a girl if you're still questioning that. Even comedies are a stretch, they have to be pretty out there, gross or depraved for me to really get into them. Other stupid random movies that generally suck, make me smile. You get bonus points if you can tell me who Torgo is.
When I take the time-- Chapelle's Show, Mind of Mencia, South Park, Drawn Together, Reno 911, Viva la Bam, Beavis and Butthead, Ren and Stimpy, Invader Zim (LOVE ZIM!!), WWE, TNA and UFC stuff sometimes too. Occasionally I'll watch CSI just because and random things I catch at friend's houses, where I get sucked into staring like its a bad accident. I miss lots of things that aren't on TV anymore though like, Pinky & the Brain, Voltron, Sailor Moon, Aeon Flux (have the DVD box set tho), The Maxx, Liquid Television and The State. Wow, does this look like an ad for the MTV generation or what?
Anything by Robert Heinlein, Dark Tower series by Stephen King, Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, Phillip K. Dick novels, Brave New World, 1984, - I read ALOT, so I'm certain I'm leaving tons of things out here. Also, I dig comic books such as Squee, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, I Feel Sick, Bear, Tank Girl, the Crow (just the original graphic novel) and the Punisher.
My Grandmother- who is the strongest woman I know and the example in my mind when I don't know how to be a strong person. Stacey is also my hero, for too many reasons to list here. And my ass, for all the times I've managed to fall on it and still get back up again.
