YOU!!
Oxjam - what will you do?
Do you live in or around Sheffield? Then you can play a part in Oxjam in Sheffield.
Want to be part of the UK's biggest music festival and help to end poverty while you’re doing it? Oxfam is looking for Music Event Organisers to make Oxjam happen.
We're asking musicians, promoters, venues - in fact, everyone - to put on all kinds of music events in Sheffield throughout October to raise cash for Oxfam. And we need YOUR help to make it happen.
You can stage your own fundraising gig, buskathon, concert or club night – sing, scratch or strum, do whatever you like, as long as it’s musical and it raises money.
There's no limit to how big or small the events are. From classical to club night, mambo to metal, it'll add up to one huge, UK-wide, Oxjam festival - raising hundreds of thousands of pounds to fight poverty. And you will be joining some of the biggest names in music on the Oxjam lineup.
Have you got what it takes to raise £750 – £1,000 through music for Oxfam? Want training and 1:1 support to do it? If so, visit www.oxfam.org.uk/oxjam before the 30 April, for more information and to apply.
The possibilities are endless, and it is up to you to make it happen.
