MegaWatt Sound

Megawatt Sound is a unique sound system that was put together by two brothers and one friend in 1990. The two brothers Brian and Orin and friend Ile who was living in Toronto at the time were called Mellowatts. About two years later the brothers went their separate ways which left Ile alone. One day I called Brian and asked him if he would mind if I use the name Mega, and he laughed and ask for what, I said I'm going to create my own sound system. So I use Mega to remember my friends and watt is for the power of what music can do. David sang to the lord “make a joyful noise.” Megawatts was born and since then we have played along with various sound system e.g.; Mello Construction (St.Thomas), RoadStar, Super Saint, Soul to Soul and many more. Megawatts home base is in Westmoreland in a small place call Big woods. Always remember where I come from. Nuff respect Dennis coke (aka Pongo), Audley Christie (aka Bad Ile).
