About Me

Let's see.... I am a certified dog obedience trainer, I have a degree in English, I have filmed two movies with Gryphon's Egg productions, I am becoming a belly dancer, I am working on my third novel, a poem of mine was published last year, I am starting grad school in January for my Master's in Creative Writing, I am a drummer in the SCA, I am an artist, and much more. I am very open-minded and love to learn and experience new things. I've been to Ireland, England, Germany, France and Mexico (not just the border towns) and I'm not nearly finished exploring the world. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh. I'm not really a people person and am totally OK with that. I have very few people I consider friends, but have hundreds of acquaintences. I love animals and am genuine in this because I rescue them, stand up for them and don't eat them. Speaking of standing up: I do stand up for myself when I deem it worth my while and am honest to a fault; I say fault because not everyone likes to hear the truth. I love movies and love playing games (board, computer--stuff like that) and can be pretty damn goofy....unless I don't like you. :)

My Interests

Writing poems, stories, songs and novels, animal welfare, learning everything I can, bettering myself, history, belly dance, drumming, art, movies, Celtic stuff, the environment, Jack the Ripper, Tarot--lots of stuff and I am always finding something new to be interested in.

I'd like to meet:

People w/ open-minds and a great sense of humor.

Music:

I like a lot of different kind of music. I HATE country and not a big fan of rap, mariachi, polka and trance.

Movies:

All of them, from Harry Potter to The Green Mile.

Television:

I'm addicted to Lifetime because they play Golden Girls and Frasier.

Books:

Again, not enough space.

Heroes:

My heroes are people who do things for other people and animals.
