The most talked about interview in MTV history is 9 year old Christina Aguilera with School of Pop president Gregg Himelstein who discovered Christina. Gregg's famous quote as he looked in the camera and said "REMEMBER THAT NAME" came true 8 years later as she became what Gregg predicted...a superstar!

Alexa Melo is a force to be reckoned with, and her entire life revolves around music and entertaining. When she was 3 years old, Alexa would dance and sing to the music that her mother would play on the radio. It was something she couldn’t contain, and she would perform for anyone who would give her the opportunity. Alexa’s first solo performance came at the age of five, for Disney Under the Stars. As she left the stage to a standing ovation, Alexa looked at her mom and said "I felt free on the stage." It was then and there that she knew entertaining was her calling, and it’s what she needed to devote her life to. As her popularity grew, Alexa was invited to join Show Stoppers; and when she turned 7, she wrote her first of hundreds of songs and recorded her first demo. That same year Alexa won her first talent show, and hasn’t looked back. She’s won every competition she’s ever entered. At 8 years old, a producer from the Maury Povich show spotted her and invited Alexa to perform in front of a national television audience. She was subsequently invited to compete on Star Search, and at 9 years old Alexa was selected to perform on America’s Most Talented Kids’ season finale Diva Special. She might have been the youngest contestant by several years, but Alexa knocked ‘em dead and outshined the pack. At ten years old, Alexa and her mom left behind their family, their house, and their pets (including a potbelly pig) back in Boston in order to pursue Alexa’s dream of performing. Alexa immediately booked her first guest starring role on Showtime’s "Sleeper Cell." She’s since appeared in a myriad of print ads and commercials. Alexa attends the School Of Pop, has her internet radio program, and produces a weekly webisode series entitled "Simply Alexa", seen by several thousand viewers each week. Alexa is currently working with Grammy nominated Alex Cantrall, who wrote the hit "Leave (Get Out) by Jojo; and Ron Harris, the producer behind Christina Aguilerra’s smash debut album. Alexa is presently studying under scholarship at The Young Actors Studio.

Aniesse Savo is a resident in Los Angeles. She mainly grew up there. When she was still very young, she dreamed of becoming a dancer. That led her to taking dance classes for 4 years. Around the age of 9-10 years old, she suddenly got a great love for acting.She then was introduced to a new acting agency called the Hollywood Group. She went to the audition and was happily accepted into the agency. About two weeks later she started to take acting classes with the agency. She says her favorite teacher would probably have been Addison Witt. A month later she got her first acting job with the popular show Crossing Jordan. After that she started to get more and more acting jobs for commercials, movies, and TV shows. Wanting to do more, she told her mom she wanted to get an agent. They heard about an audition for agents at the agency. She then went and got an agent. Her name was Judy Ives. Aniesse was soon in 5th grade and entered her talent show. Her and her best friend Michelle Martell ( who is also an actress), signed up to sing. Aniesse Savo said that when she was up on that stage, she felt like that the stage is where she belongs. Singing was always right in front of her but she just kept on ignoring it. She then realized that she truely wanted to become a singer. She sttends the School of Pop. It was there that she learned about the music business. The more she learned the more she wanted to be in it. It was there that she was trained by the top people in the music business. She learned about stage performance from Alex Cantrall. She learned dance from many teachers. One of them was a fanta girl. The other two were in the movie rent. She learned about her vocals from Billy Purnell. She also learned Guitar, Piano and songwriting.
Bella is a new fresh Pop/R&B artist with a poignant voice. She was raised from a musical family and with their support she could improve her skills in singing, songwriting, dancing, acting and performing on stage. Training with the music industry professionals helped her develop unique style and technique. Recently, she has performed at the legendary House of Blues in Hollywood and she is working on her music.
Bree Randall is a 13 year old singer/performer. She has been training with Billy Purnell for about 3 ½ years. She also enjoys dancing, she is studying dance at Conlin Dance Academy (Jazz, Lyrical, and hip hop). She loves being on stage. Just recently she filmed a national AAO commercial where she had a principal part. She is currently signed with L.A Models/ L.A Talent. She says that God is the only reason for her being here and she am always performing just for him!
Caitlyn Taylor Love is an exceptionally talented girl from Harlingen Texas. The past 2 years has moved quickly for this singer/songwriter/actor/dancer. With very few outlets for performing, Caitlyn competed at the age of 10 in the Miss Texas Pageant in hopes of winning the Talent Division, Not only did she win the Talent Division, she was also crowned Miss Texes Jr. Preteen 2004. She was then invited in July 2005 to compete at IMTA New York where she won Miss Jr. Actress of the Year along with several other acting and singing awards. She was immediately signed by Coast to Coast Talent Group of LA, CA. Shortly after, Caitlyn moved to LA and quickly landed a lead role on MTV's Punk'd. She was also chosen out of the thousands of contestants across America to compete in the new NBC show America's Got Talent, which aired in June 2006 where she made it to the semi finals. Caitlyn is currently attending the School of Pop and is in the studio recording her demo and working on her original music.
Thirteen year old Camille Abordo began singing at the age of 7. She performed at her first grade talent show and her teacher Mr. Bradshaw ran up to her on the stage, bowed down to her and took all the credit for her singing talents. It was a funny sight. Soon after she tried out for American Juniors and made it to the semi finals. She then began studying voice with a great vocal coach, Billy Purnell. She studies hip hop dance with world renowned Shane Sparks (from So You Think You Can Dance) , and acting with Peter Story. She did a commercial for Universal Nissan. In 2006, she began singing the nation anthem for the Los Angeles Angels and has since become a regular there. In January 2007, Camille auditioned for NBC’s Showtime at the Apollo in Los Angeles and was immediately invited to perform on the show as their “Star of Tomorrow” which aired nationwide in 2007. Camille also recently did a commercial for the Gameshow Network which should be airing soon and was used as the book cover to the National Vocabulary Championship book online. Camille also recently recorded 3 songs - Bye Bye, Make It Okay, and Not that Kinda Girl. Bye Bye is her first song that she wrote on her own. Camille was also on a full page layout on the April 2007 Issue of Inland Empire Magazine.

Hailey is a 10 year old vocalist from Southern California who had the desire to sing and perform at a very young age. Small Wonder Hailey Dibiasi turns heads and wins hearts wherever and whenever she steps in front of a microphone to sing. Hailey has won many awards for her talent as a singer and is involved with Kids 4 Kids, which allows her to use her voice to inspire others and to help raise money for local charities. Hailey made it to the 2nd round of auditions with American Juniors in 2003 and was asked by Producer Nygel Lythgow “Are you sure there isn't a 50 yr old in that little body, WOW what a voice!” Music is a gift, but also a way of life for this phenomenal young singer. Just as comfortable performing a solo on stage as she is playing with her friends. One thing is certain- Hailey Dibiasi will leave a lasting impression with her voice. The group..s members hail from Southern California, and they represent a rich ethnic diversity: Just as LA offers the world a colorful tapestry of races and cultures, so does LAX. LAX is currently taxiing on the runway, laying down more tracks for the much-anticipated lift off of their debut album due this spring. Their first single, ..Forget You is an upbeat pop anthem about love and loss. Its already getting heavy airplay on R&B and pop radio stations. Seventeen year old Sarah Souza is a high school junior in Littleton, Colorado. She just finished filming High School Musical and is a very accomplished singer and dancer. Sarah is very excited about joining School of Pop for the summer session.

I can't tell you enough how much I love School Of Pop, the headleader, and staff! School of Pop has opened SO many doors for me and gave me a total different and positive look on what I want my career to be and how I'm going to make it happen! School Of Pop is seriously, a place for dreams of any kind and any age to come true! Coming from a small town and not much hope, even though I believed I would someday be a star/inspiration...it was hard for me to figure out how I'd get there. Ever since I found this connection and wonderful opportunity. School Of Pop has at least giving me some stepping stones to success! Without the support from Gregg, training from Alex, Billy, Nick, and commitment from my parents (Mom) ..ing me reach my dream...I wouldn't be where I am now, who I'd like to be in the future, and I'd be a complete different person with low and different perspective. You'll never find a better guidance other than School of Pop!
At the age of 5, Shelby would always perform the song "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion for her family at special get-togethers. One family member in particular, her great aunt, noticed her talent and encouraged her to follow her dream. By the time the young star was 9 years old, she had performed in many plays at the local theatre, and won the crown of Little Miss Stevenson Ranch. Shelby is currently attending the School of Pop where she works with two time Grammy nominee and songwriter (Jojo, Fantasia) Alex Cantrall, who she studies performing, image, and vocal technique with. That same year, she also met producer/engineer/songwriter Dave Carlock (P!nk, Blink-182)--the Grammy Award certificate winner who discovered her true talent and wrote and produced Criss Cross Applesauce for Shelby. She also receives vocal training from Billy Purnell. Now, 14 years old, Shelby is still working hard to achieve her dream. "When I see a stage and other people performing, I'm ALWAYS dying to get up on the stage and perform, too! But I always think of things I would do differently." Shelby Spalione isn't your typical popstar, singer, or girl. She has her own unique style, a style that will go far.
William May dances on the CBS show Dance Revolution on Saturday mornings, and makes appearances on Discovery Kid’s Hip Hop Harry. He also has a role on the Nickelodeon show Giggle Club which is produced by Nick Cannon and Quincy Jones. He has acquired a role in the 2007 movie based on the ever popular Bratz.
Yana is a multi-talented young lady . This girl is 10 y.o. pianist,songwriter and singer. She started playing piano when she was in kindergarten and has enjoyed entertaining people ever since she realized that music is her life. She is Southern CA Bach piano competition finalist/winner for the last 3 years. Recently she discovered that she has huge voice in her 10 years old body . She won 1-st place pop-vocal 2007 AFNA music fest and 2008 started with another singing award at OC karaoke fest.
Influences:
LAX's Brianna, Cristina, & Jamie first met in Los Angeles, where they started working with songwriter/producer Alex Cantrall (JoJo, Fantasia, Vanessa Hudgens). He put them through a rigorous boot camp in hopes of making them the best of the best. After undergoing a punishing regimen of running, dancing, and singing, LAX was born. Says Cantrall, ..I felt like the market place was filled with groups built around one singer. LAX is made up of 3 stars, each of who are the real deal. Olivia Raimondi, the gifted young 10 year old from Mokena, ILLINOIS will be attending the 6 day summer workshop/record label concert July 14th!!! Olivia has been training in guitar and voice lessons and as lead singer of her rock band they performed to raise money and donate supplies to the troops in Iraq!!! the School of Pop welcomes Olivia!!!

The 14 year old miss Connecticut teen Jr. Julia Taylor Veronesi will be coming to the sop 5 day camp and record concert at universal Studios Hollywood. School of Pop welcomes Julia Veronesi to Hollywood!!

Elaine Gocobachi, the 15 year old from San Francisco has been accepted to the 2008 school of pop summer 5 day camp and live concert the week of July 4th!!! Elaine is a very accomplished student athlete and has a real passion for becoming a pop singer. The School of Pop is so pleased to welcome elaine to Hollywood!!

Brittany Donnelly, the 14 year old from Kingston, Ontario Canada will be coming to the School of Pop summer event the second week of July in Los Angeles!!! Brittany is known in her small town as the girl with the voice!!! She also plays piano and guitar and is so excited about the summer. The School of Pop welcomes Brittany Donnely.

14 YEAR OLD FRESHMAN IN HIGHSCHOOL TREVOR BROWN WILL BE ATTENDING THE SCHOOL OF POP SUMMER PROGRAM IN JULY!!! TREVOR IS A GUITAR PLAYER AND PLAY'S THE DRUMS. TREVOR IS ALSO A SONGWRITER. HE WAS RECENTLY FEATURED ON M.T.V. ON THE SHOW " SEARCH FOR THE NEW MENUDO" AND WAS A FINALIST. HE IS ALSO A CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER AND LACROSSE PLAYER.

Coming to the school of pop summer event on her second year in a row is 10 year old super singer bridgett from arizona!!

school of pop welcomes emma Lander, the 17 year old connecticut girl who has made a name for herself in ballet and jazz on the east coast will be making her first trip to cali this summer to try her other passion...singing pop. emma is on her way to N.Y.U. in the fall. the school of pop welcomes emma Lander!!!

the school of pop welcomes kayla green, the 14 year old from southern new jersey who loves to play guitar and really has a passion to be a songwriter. kayla is super excited about the school of pop summer program and cant wait to get to california.

Ashton Harrell the 12 year old from North Carolina will be coming to the School of pop summer camp in July. Ashton was voted America's 20 most talented kids in a talent search by the cartoon network. he is a member of the radio disney RD-7 pop group and opened up for Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers. the School of Pop welcomes Ashton.

The 14 year old singer and dancer Kristianna Prato From Baltimore will be comimg to the summer program!!!!

The 9 year old from canada Jackie is california bound this july 14th for pop summer 2008.!
