.. DEEDEE is what they call her...Well suited name for this southern Virginia raised R&B singer. Singing and writting straight from the heart; letting her soothing voice be the guide for every girl and woman in dealing with their experiences in love and life. Dee has seen her share of good and bad along the way, exposed to the urban youth of Virginia; raised by a single father, a pianist, composer and singer. The environment she grew up in, up's and down's of the entertainment industry, has contributed to the style and knowledge that now exudes from her singing, writting and performing. Being a prolific writer, singing and making beautiful soul searing music is definitley in her blood. Songs that you can feel deep inside, textured with vocals that shine whether layered over edgy or unpredictable beats, her talent is only equal to the enthusiasm instilled by her upbringing and surroundings. Performing shows alongside artists like Usher, Tyrese,Erikah Badu, Ashanti, Master P, Carl Henry, T.L.C, Jodie Resther, is where Dee honed her craft in performance. And now with her first single release called "Play my Game", crafted with "Tash" of Addictiv, featuring Miami's own Pit Bull, Montreal's Mickey Dangerous, and video release, it seems that DeeDee is steppin up in the industry. With a next single on the way, co-written and released with artist "Tash", called "Everything"including a feature from New Yorks own Papoose, it seems that DeeDee has found her place in the game. With a new solo project at hand, DeeDee has decided to show the world a side of her that was never known! Her life experiences is what will be looked at, Dee changes with the way her environment changes, and she's definitley got alot to sing about!
