Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan , LaRue now has been relocated to Flint by God Himself with a purpose to fulfill in this region. That purpose is to cause an awakening to take place within this city and it’s surrounding regions.
The catalyst for making this come to pass is Winning Souls and Making Disciples, because if people would wake up and see what God has in store for them and see themselves as God sees them, change would take place instantaniously. Therefore LaRue is about more than just tight tracks and catchy hooks. It’s about making music that’s going to be a blessing to someones life with, the power to remove burdens and destroy yokes because of the annointing of God. After 2 full length underground projects and 2 EPs, LaRue is about to release his new CD entitled " You Don’t Know The Cost Of My Praise". He’s has experienced favor and success with all his music being a blessing to the masses both locally and as far as Japan.. God is truly expanding his borders. He’s shared the stage with ministries such as Crossmovement, R- Swift, Corey Red & Precise, New Breed, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Vickie Winans, Kim Burrell, Mark A. Parker and many others. He’s done workshops, and speaking engagements for the sake of educating and edifying the Body of Christ. As a graduate of Word Of Life Bible College, LaRue is thoroughly equipped to Minister the Gospel, whether by music or over the pulpit. LaRue is happily married to Laticia Hill going on 12 years and they have 5 beautiful children, 4 daughters and 1 son, he also has another daughter previous to his marraige. They are the driving force behind his ministry: because if a man doesn’t have his own household in order how can he handle the Lord’s House. LaRue is a faithful member and an intrical part of the ministry of Family Worship Center Church in Flint, Mi. where Timothy R.
