New Lyfe, formally known as Mic Psalms, has been doing GOSPEL hip hop since Oct 2005. Before he became the gospel rapper known as Mic Psalms, he was known as the underground emcee Third Eie. He decided to make the transformation from secular to gospel when God spoke to his heart during the composition of a secular, very violent song. He immediatley answered the call, disposed of all his secular music, and began his new faith walk. Now known as New Life, he continnues to spread the Gospel of Christ through his rap ministry. When asked how would he desribe himself he said " I'm an open minded Christian who loves my faith and I am blessed that God gave me this gift to spread His Love." He is currently working on his up and coming album which has the possibility of releasing in Fall 2008.
