How does one describe a band with words? Is it even possible to simplify music with words? No. The very simple and very accurate answer is no. Music says what words cannot. Even lyrics accopmpanied by song can somehow manage to say more than conversation ever can. Songs become the fuzzy thoughts in your head that you can never seem to get out. Years of speaking will lead only to awkward silence but a song will unleash a lifetime of rage, sadness, pain, joy or outright hatred for radiohead's inability to reach their potential in 3:28.
