I'm just an uso (Samoan for brother) raising my family in St. George, Utah (Zion Country); yeah, its high desert but its a lot more beautiful, very scenic and cooler than Las Vegas where we lived for a year after leaving Northern Cali .We like St. George for its small town feel and go to Vegas often which is only a 1 1/2 hour drive when we feel the need to get some city life; in addtion, its where most of my family has relocated to from the Bay, LA, Colorado, Hawaii, Utah, etc. and back home from Am. Samoa - so its a good thing.Right now, just enjoying life & now finding out what myspace is all about. My lil' sister hooked up this page for me, and she is updating (I gave her my playlist, but couldn't find alot of what I liked being hosted) to show my music tastes which is the classic R&B stuff, but I am learning about new artists a whole lot more which is great because I've been away from the music for so long. What I love most is finding talent right here at home, meaning among our own Usos and Tuafafines from around the way; Cali, NZ, Hawaii, Australia etc....its been a lot of fun finding all of this on the Internet and finding lost friends or reconnecting with fambam I haven't seen or heard from for ages....My kids Tajan, Makanahei and Basila miss being around their cousins in Vegas so we try to get there as much as possible. Other than work, etc. I love going to my kids sports or Poly dance events. Football season is the most exciting! We've made the transition to the desert pretty easily; the first year is the most difficult, after that, its all gravy. Joely was raised out here (altho' she was born in Wellington, NZ and bounced to the US when she was 5); We compromised leaving the Bay Area so she could be near her family. Anyhow, its a great environment for family and we've got lots of Polynesians here so we can still enjoy the "Aiga or Ohana feel"; with so many islanders settling here from Hawaii (lots of Laie folk), Samoa, Tonga and even NZ it feels a lil' like hom.Haven't really met too many Tahitians here but there are a few with Tokelau, Niuean, and Cook Islander ties.....its been really interesting living here but I can't get the "City by The Bay, SAN FRANCISCO" out of my mind...., miss the city, culture, scenery, the arts, the sports, concerts, the weather, the wine and cheese (never even had that stuff) and most of all - the restaurants; seafood, Asian and Italian, etc....We are miss it all.....!!!!! ..
