About Me

31 years old and married to the coolest girl ever for 9 years. We have an amazing 4 year old boy,and a sweet little baby girl. Life is good.......................................I play guitar, bass, and drums...... My parents named me after Sir Paul McCartney................................................... .......................I have worked with several Bluegrass artists, including Rebel Records recording artist David Davis and The Warrior River Boys, and Tony Holt and The Wildwood Valley Boys,The Kati Penn Band, Tommy Brown and The County Line Grass,The Dean Osborne Band, and RFD-TV's The Cumberland Highlanders.I have also played with Matt Zarb, ,Lexington power trio Taildragger, and Little Miss Tammy Smith in the past. I(along with Matt DeSpain, Tommy Emmanuel,Lindsey Buckingham,Matt and Pauly Zarb, and ) recorded on a disc by Antsy McClain "Time Sweetened Lies".It got quite a bit of play on NPR,and did well on the americana charts! In early 2004 I was honored to have the chance to play(guitar) with the legendary JD Crowe at the capitol building in Frankfort,KY to recognize his induction into the Kentucky music hall of fame. Thanks JD!!!!!. I have played The Grand Ole Opry with 40+ year Opry member Bobby Osborne and his band The Rocky Top X-Press,and also have had the honor of playing a Bluegrass salute to Bill Monroe at The Grand Ole Opry in September '06 with Bill's son James Monroe. I have recorded many sessions with various artists and am happy to have had the chance to work in some fine studios.GEAR: I proudly endorse Ned Steinberger NS Design Electric Upright Basses. I am currently between string deals.I also use a late 30's model KustomKraft bass with a K&K Rockabilly special pickup. I usually run my bass through an Acoustic Image Contra or a GK head and 2X10 GK cabinet......I also play various Fender Jazz and P basses,a Hofner Beatle Bass, a 1974 Martin D-18 ,a 1997 Martin HD-28 LSV,and various Rickenbackers and old tube amps.I am currently putting together Hick'ry Chicken,a rootsy earthy jam band.
