About Me

Collectors return with their new EP "Travelogue", the first since the debut EP "Reverberation" in 2004. If "Reverberation" marked a beginning, then "Travelogue" marks a band confidently hitting its stride.
Recorded and mixed at Million Yen Studios in Chicago, "Travelogue" finds the band showcasing broad sonic textures, ear-pleasing psychedelic tinged pop sensibilities, tight hooks and strong arrangements that evoke the best sounds of UK rock over the years.
Lyrically the release encompasses bitterweet themes of loss - the loss of time, opportunities and people that are most important in one's life. But listen closer and one will hear a sense of hope and redemption that permeates "Travelogue" like a perfect day.
