Anyways... this is a newer page and so I am sorry if you have to re add me... =/ I am Shannon... obviously. I am in NYC tryin to live my dreams, I just finished school at Seton Hall University!! I am so excited to be done! Now on with the rest of my missions! ;)
When I moved out here from ARIZONA in August of 2006 I started working at SIRIUS Satellite Radio as an intern with "THE COVINO AND RICH SHOW" on Maxim Radio!!
I made my way up and I am no longer an intern. I am working in the music programming dept full time. I am extremely excited! One step closer! Even though I am not working with Covino and Rich daily the guys said I can stop by whenever I want so... Shannon Gunz will have guest appearances.
You can now listen to me and my crazieness on Sirius Faction 28 I am a new member of The Faction Team! I join Tully, Cullen, Bam, Ellis, Moseley and Joan Jett!! I am the first Female Host on the channel... Joan Jett doesn't count... she's already a RockStar!! You can hear me on Saturdays from 4pm-Midnight on the east... 1pm out west!! And also on Sunday's from 4pm-8pm eastern! Call in at 866-YO-FACTION to talk some Shit!
You can also check me out on occasion when I'm hangin out hangin with Cullen on weekday mornings from 6am-noon on the east if I get up early enough! And on sometimes with Jason Ellis when he's out here in NYC... he's on from 3-7pm on the east! Check em both out... they're in my top friends and they are fucking RAD! Also... A little more about me...
I do most things for the shock value... and my own entertainment! I love to see people's reactions! It keeps me entertained! All around a good time!
I love my friends, they ALL mean the world to me... New ones and old ones... You know who you are. They are always there to support me and pick me up when I am kinda down... My parents are my rock, they have helped me get where I am and it is an amazing feeling to have their support!
I do not smoke... though I am apparently wasted in this pic... cause I said, "Hey Kay!! I am smoking take a picture!"
I believe that stories are the one of the most entertaining and educational things out there. Things that others experience teach us and amuse us therefor makes them important!
I have been told that I am too trusting... and I can't say I disagree although I like to trust people... I trust you til you give me a reason not too. On that note, taking advantage is a very cruel thing.
And for the record... I think that lesbians are awesome... super hot! I love dudes but chicks are fun! ;)

My Interests

Being me is what I live to do!

There is a lot which I will fill in later... Definitely ARIZONA and west coast fun! I love going to the lake, layin in the sun... wake boarding, riding in the boat...you know all that fun stuff!
Watching my boys ride moto... Aww used to be so fun! NYC just doesnt have it!

Jumpin off the rocks into water is pretty bad ass too!! I like going snowboarding but havent gotten to to in over a year! Shitty!
Umm... Well while I am here telling things I am in to lets go with things I am not into... I dont like living in the snow, going to play in it is one thing but since I've been out here in NYC... Uhh I hate the snow! I dont like picking a crew... I love everyone from punk kids to rock dudes to hippies to suits! Why pick a type?? Life is more interesting with diversity! I feel like here in NYC your supposed to and in AZ we all chill together... did I mention I miss AZ! :) Love NYC too though! 2 Different worlds... and I make them collide! :) ..

I am a Punk Rock Chick thanks to the high school sweet heart... he got me in to Pennywise, Bad Religion, old school Blink 182, No Use for a Name, The Vandals oh... and who could forget about The Ramones. Mr. Handsome Dick Manitoba from The Dictators (who I recently got to know!) is pretty rad too!

My girl Caylee from back home got me into Mindless Self Indulgence... Who are pretty sweet too! They mix a few different types of music... kinda awesome!
Cant forget about my favorite stoner music... Love Sublime, Pepper, Bob Marley, The Expendables (in my top friends!)... and the list goes on and on...

Thanks to Jose Mangin and Mario from Hard Attack 27... on SIRIUS(like that plug??)... I am in to Metal, I really enjoy me some Demon Hunter, Avenged Sevenfold, Devil Driver, and of course... The one and only...Metallica! Mario took me to see Sepltura... that was pretty rad! Metal Dudes are amazing live! They play with so much passion! Ill Nino is Awesome too!! LAZ is RAD!

El Covino from Octane 20 keeps me in check with my Rock... I Love Linkin Park and have for a long time, Seether is a new favorite! Paramore is awesome... Haily ROCKS! Pink is pretty cool and I am a fan of Evanescence!
I love the old 80's rock scene as well!! Motley Crue, Gunz N Roses... you know, the guys that were fucked up and always looked awesome! :) On that note... Nikki Sixx's new 6 A.M. Album is great!
I listen to Classic Rock as well cause of the Papa's influence... there is nothing like chillin out to some Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin or The Rolling Stones. I am a fan of Paul Simon (Me and Julio is Awesome!) Me first and the Gimme Gimmes do a awesome cover of it!
Mama and my younger days in the country make me love Reba, George Strait and Garth Brooks... The Judds bring back some memories as well!
So yeah... with all that said, I love music... If you have some ideas of something I should hear... let me know! I am down!

Movies:

.. Funny shit is my favorite!! I love to laugh! Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore are hands down 2 of my favorites. I love Half Baked! STONER!
Anything with Julia Roberts in it I have most likely seen and enjoyed! I am a huge fan of her! And... Who's That Girl! I love it!

Television:

I don't watch much TV. I feel that there is so much more to do. You can't get anywhere if you sit on the couch all the time. Do it yourself rather than watch someone else do it!
.. Tabloid TV and Law and Order and CSI if I am being lazy... Oh and Flight Of The Concords is amazingly funny! I draw a little too... Faces are my favorite, we all have a story...

Books:

Umm... LOVE NIKKI SIXX's NEW BOOK!! I think I am really going to be getting into RockStar Bio's... I love em! ..
