Operation Downfall is a 4-piece metal band hailing from Los Angeles, California. After forming in 2000, it was not until early 2005, with the addition of drummer Chris Collins, that the band developed its unique sound. Since then, the band has been commanding the stages of such famous Los Angeles clubs as The Whisky A Go-Go, The Roxy Theater, and The Knitting Factory and is currently taking on the task of destroying clubs all over Southern California along side such bands as Strife, Straight Faced, My Ruin, and most recently, Warbringer. Subsequent to the release of their first full-length album Virulent (case 820071) in February of 2008, the band’s fan base has been growing substantually. With Virulent infecting the world, Operation Downfall is quickly becoming a name not soon to be forgotten.
