About Me

Ken Swartz has been performing in new orleans for over 10 years,playing with some of New Orleans best musicians and performing solo also--opening for Dr. Johns guitar player John Fohl for many years and has performed as a duet with Anders Osborne taking turns singing and backing each other.Ken has backed and fronted many other bands and now he has been working with his own band since the storm in new orleans using many of the musicians that were here right after the storm.Playing the earliest country blues and funkin it up new orleans style making audiences dance and groove to the earliest american roots music keeping the tradition alive and bringing something new to it as well.
