About Me


Pastor Timothy Rollins: ~ a.k.a. daHoodRev! began his Musical career journey at the age of 4!Born in New York City (Jamaica, Queens) but raised in Uniondale, Long Island. He started playing Classical Music by Beethoven & Bach, Performing concerts @ age 5. Born with perfect pitch & playing piano by ear, 'HoodRev!' was soon trained by a PH.D Graduate from Juilliard, then later attended Howard University. First the Classics (60s), then the R&B/Funk! (70s) Along came Jazz & Hip Hop (80s & 90s), and the Gospel! (Millennium). He was there in NYC [1978-79] when "B-Boyin'" & "Scratchin'" ... Rap & HIP-HOP began! [King Tim III] Tim also has performed/recorded Keyboard tracks for Public Enemy, Ice Cube, Najee, Janet Jackson, & Frankie Beverly & Maze. Paul Jackson, Jr., Rick James & Chaka Kahn, and Kurtis Blow!
