Claire was born in Durban on the 23rd of February 1982, and grew up the youngest of a very large foster family. Her love for singing would take preference in her life. As a schoolgirl she would often retreat to her bedroom where she would practice her singing for hours. Her desire to sing encouraged her to start writing her own songs at the age of 11.
Since then she has continued to write songs and perform at various venues around Durban. Claire has always pursued a career in music, in 2002 she featured on DJ Eric M’s Album “Reflections” singing the ballad “Time Standing Still". She has since released her first album entitled "Dream" which has been played on various radio stations around the country.
At the age of 25, she has accomplished so much already as an unsigned artist, yet she is left with so much more she dreams to still accomplish. She is a great believer in the talent we have in South Africa, and hopes to help break international barriers with the artists we are hiding from the rest of the world.
