About Me

Mike MacInnis is an eclectic artist with a warm, natural groove to each of his eighty plus original songs. Engaging both the emotions and the intellect, he achieves meaningful insights and evokes new meaning each time you hear his music. With strong instincts as an artist, Judo Sensei and as a social worker, he involves themes of love & loss and highlights the beauty of Cape Breton Island. A performer/writer, in the broad sense of the term, his songs have lyrics and melodies that stick with you. His first CD, "Steppin' Out", made its mark on the local and the National music scene with nine out of ten songs on the CD receiving extensive radio coverage. He is active in a wide array of charitable activities and community services as his music career gains momentum. Mike's next CD, "Always About The Music", is anticipated to start a whole new phase of his music career as this will be his ultimate collection of songs with huge anticipated cross over success. His commercial highpoint not yet realized, it has always been about the music rather than conformity to perceived commercialism. Come join Mike Mac Innis on his one of a kind journey of story and song as he "introduces you to your soul" each time you enjoy his music.Free MySpace Layouts by Iron Spider
